What is Washable Silk?
We’ve dreamed up our silk sleepwear for everyday wear in a no-fuss, low-maintenance Washable Silk that is as easy to care for as it is to wear. Our special wash treatment takes additional steps to soften the silk for an extra supple hand feel and a luxurious, velvety finish. As the name implies, our Washable Silk is, in fact, machine washable — a rare thing for anything this silky, soft, and perfect.
Where is Your Washable Silk Made?
Silk is commonly known as the queen of textiles, and China most definitely wears the crown for silk manufacturing. Our 100% Mulberry silk originates from China, the world’s foremost luxury silk producer with a history stretching back more than 2,000 years.
What is Mulberry Silk?
Mulberry silk is the highest quality silk available. 100% natural and hypoallergenic, it is the softest natural silk on the market and is as durable as it is luxe. Made with proteins full of amino acids, it has great moisture permeability and is super breathable. In other words, it feels amazing on your skin.
Is it really washable? How do you care for it?
Yes, you can wear your favorite set again (and again…and again)—without the trip to the dry-cleaners. Boasting the same temperature-regulating, soft-to-the-touch feel as traditional silk, our Washable Silk can be thrown right in with your regular laundry.
