From Studio, To Silk
with Rosandich
The Lunya x Rosandich collab reimagines rest as an act of creation, a kind of meditation in motion. For Mikey, founder of Rosandich and Brooklyn-based floral artist, mindfulness isn’t stumbled upon; it’s built slowly, deliberately, with the hands. Each petal arranged, each stem considered, becomes a way of quieting the noise. Rest, for him, isn’t about stopping. It’s about surrendering to the rhythm of making.

“I’m really bad at getting rest,” he says. “I have to be doing things at all times. The one thing that makes me feel calm and peaceful is being creative. Whether that’s creating something small or anything that involves using my hands… that’s how I really fall into a state of rest.”
It’s this meditative relationship with process–tactile, imperfect, deeply human–that forms the emotional blueprint of his first collaboration with Lunya.

Inside his Brooklyn studio, the Rosandich team composed a series of lush, moody arrangements–each petal placed, each stem considered–before photographing them in-house. These images were then reinterpreted by Lunya’s design team into a limited-edition Washable Silk print: a painterly fusion of pomegranate reds, shadowy blooms, and movement. The result feels alive, like something caught between blooming and fading, a visual rhythm that mirrors the ebb and flow of rest itself.

“It covers the gamut,” Mikey says of the capsule. “It’s unisex. Anybody can wear it. You can mix it with daytime pieces, nighttime pieces, dress it up, dress it down.” He mentions styling the men’s boxers on his sister with an oversized blazer for an effortlessly cool look.
Like the artist himself, the collection exists in duality. Creative yet composed, elevated yet undone, warm without trying too hard. It’s a reminder that rest isn’t passive, it’s an art form, shaped by what we choose to slow down for.
