One of the most intimate of spaces, a bedroom can reveal volumes about who we are — from the kind of artwork on the walls, to how furniture is arranged, even down to what kind of lightbulbs are used (give us all that warm light, baby). A bedroom is the blueprint to how we unwind, settle in, and embark on our R&R journey.
So when it came to designing our brand new Los Angeles Bedroom on Melrose, it wasn’t just exclusively about honoring the bedtime ritual — it was also about creating an environment that inspires us to reimagine our very own sleeping spaces.
Working hand in hand with designer Rachel Shillander, Lunya’s CEO Ashley Merrill set out to create a space that would feel like an “ever-changing disco party.”
Striking a balance of time-honored architectural elements, retro-fantastic details, and organic textures, the Melrose Lunya Bedroom feels like stepping into a moment caught between Sci-Fi fantasy and the swanky, sophisticated decade of the 70’s. An oval layout beckons Bedroom visitors to explore and wander the space openly, and above is a stunning skylight that adds to the space’s play on natural elements — tying everything into a rich, warm palette.
Nestled in the heart of the West Hollywood Design District, Lunya’s Bedroom is officially open, and ready to welcome you to bed.
