Gabriela Sage is GOOD IN BED*
*It’s where she unwinds, recharges (and snuggles with Mochi)
If you’ve never cuddled your cat in bed under the soothing comfort of a weighted blanket while watching reality TV, maybe dabbling in a glass of wine with some nail painting between commercial breaks, well then, you have never lived like Gabriela Sage. As a mental health advocate and sustainability influencer, it’s safe to say that Gabby probably knows what’s good for you (in bed and out) so maybe read on and then follow her lead?
What does good in bed mean to you?
To me “Good in Bed” means creating a sacred space for myself that allows me to unwind and recharge.
What (or who) is currently in your bed.
My weighted Bearaby blanket that helps me sleep, and of course my cat Mochi.
Describe how you would spend an entire day in bed.
If I had a whole day to spend in bed, I would start out with a warm cup of matcha, a book and some journaling. I’d stretch and meditate. Then I’d listen to a podcast and cuddle with Mochi. I’d light one of my Boy Smells candles and do a face mask while painting a new design on my nails. Lastly, I’d end the day with a glass of wine, my favorite snacks, and catch up on some reality TV.
Bedtime ritual you can’t live without?
My nightly skincare routine.
How do you make your bedroom a sanctuary?
I make my bedroom a sanctuary with my cozy linen sheets, tons of natural light, plants, candles, incense, and some of my favorite second hand decor pieces on my dresser.
What would people be surprised to learn you do in bed?
Late night online shopping.
First thing you do when you wake up?
Open up my windows to let the morning light in.
Last thing you do before you go to sleep?
Unwind by watching the latest Good Trouble episode.
I hit the snooze button 3 times before waking up.
Favorite thing to wear to bed and why?
Lunya's Washable Silk Set, it is effortlessly chic and so comfortable.
What can we currently find on your nightstand?
Plants, candles, a book and a hair tie.
