It’s no secret - we love spending time at home.
Even though we’ve all been home for a while now, it hasn’t dampened our enthusiasm for all sorts of home-based seasonal revelry and all things festive (and spooky). How are we getting ourselves into the spirit of our favorite season? We’re looking forward to crossing some books off our reading list and baking, baking, baking. We might even pick up a new hobby just in time for Halloween (if we eat our homemade pumpkin bread while learning to read Tarot, does that make us basic witches?).
It’s no coincidence that these are all things that we can do in our sleepwear. Make Yourself At Home* and check out what we’re getting into this holiday season.
Watching: David Attenborough: A Life on our Planet
Reading: Bob Iger’s The Ride of a Lifetime: Lessons Learned from 15 Years as CEO of the Walt Disney Company (and now plotting when we can go back to Disneyland)
Doing: This election, we’re voting in bed. With only 14 days until the big day, we’re schooling ourselves on how to vote and what we’ll be voting on via @iamavoter. Check out our conversation with founder, Mandana Dayani.
Wearing: It’s cold. Where’s my sweater? We’re wearing new Cozy Cotton Silk, of course.
Listening: Pack away those summer songs for another day — it's officially fall and we need to adjust our playlists accordingly. We’re getting in the mood with our fall playlist with tunes from Carole King, Sampha, and Sade. Cue the nostalgia + cozy vibes.
Making: Sugar, spice, everything nice. Could you guess it? We’re making this pumpkin bread recipe.
Learning: Feeling extra witchy this month; we’re learning how to read Tarot via The Cut.
Color: We’re feeling green with our very own Myrtle.
