It’s no secret - we love spending time at home.
We’re wrapping up the year that was 2020 with a special New Year’s edition of Make Yourself At Home*. Here’s how we’re ringing it in, all from the comfort of our living rooms.
Doing: Celebrating New Years with a good ol’ fashion pajama party, of course. We’re putting on our most festive, fancy silk sets… just don’t be surprised if we’re asleep before midnight.
Listening: There is no genre we love more than disco, and 2020 has certainly seen a major disco rival. We’ll be doing a self-isolated shimmy to Lunya’s NYE playlist — filled with OG hits from artists like Anita Ward, Donna Summer, and CHIC. Can you tell we miss a dancefloor?
Watching: Tuning into the classics — the Times Square ball drop and Dick Clark’s NYE special.
Making: We’ll be making our version of a NYE Sparkler- 1 ounce vodka, 1½ ounces pomegranate juice, 3½ ounces Champagne, and ordering takeout from our favorite LA spots — Jon & Vinny’s, Great White Rotisseria, Jitlada, and Sonoratown. For an extra special NYE meal, might we recommend Gigi’s, n/naka, and Melisse x Citrin’s NYE menu.
Wearing: Washable Silk Set: ON. The dumpster fire year that was 2020: GONE.
